REMOTE RECORDING
During his time in Boston Quincy spent countless hours in the recording studios drumming for different artists and working with different engineers. After working in the studio with L.A. studio legend John Paterno engineering and producing, Quincy became very interested in that side of the music making process. John Paterno became a mentor figure for Quincy’s career teaching him how to mic and record drums the way he had learned from years of a successful career in Los Angeles. This led to Quincy starting to record drums from home and practiced how to get a great drum sound from what he had when a studio wasn’t easily accessible. This eventually led to Quincy building a studio in his home in Los Angeles where he can deliver studio quality drums to artists remotely.
